Healthy Chicken Nugget Recipe!

Chicken Nuggets made with Almond flour/meal: These are a huge hit at my house, not to mention jam packed with a TON of PROTEIN!!

1 package of organic or natural (no hormones/antibiotics added) chicken strips

Cut each strip into small pieces

Toss chicken pieces in 1 whole beaten egg (or egg whites can be used)

Toss egg covered chicken in a container with 1-2 Cups Almond meal/flour, coating each piece completely. You may need more or less depending on how many nuggets you're preparing.

Place nuggets in frying pan with 1/2- 3/4 inches of Olive Oil that has been heating in advance. Fry nuggets for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

DO NOT heat Olive Oil higher than medium heat, about a 4-5 on a stove dial. Heating Olive Oil any higher will destroy the oil's triglyceride chains mutating them and won't be any better for you than a crap oil such as vegetable/canola etc.

When finished place them on plate with a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.

Welcome to Fit Babz! Our Formal Introduction

Fit Babz is a mother and daughter owned LLC that are obsessed with health and fitness and of course working out.

We live in our gym clothes (yes we change them often) and being half Italian have plenty of attitude hence how we came up with our signature Toody Tanks. Toody is short for "Attitude" and if you've spent any time in the gym at all you know the things that annoy, entertain or just irritate you. So we came up with funny sayings that fit most of those occasions! We figure with tanks this cool who needs pants?

But then we thought, well we don't want to get anybody arrested for indecent exposure (only celebrities can get away with the no pants look, Rhianna are you listening?) soooo we HAD to come up with more stuff as in leggings! Currently we offer two different leggings which are super comfy and flattering. We also offer Dolman style hoodies that are lightweight and oversized for superior comfort and movement. Great for in or out of the gym!

Since we have just started we are constantly adding more and in February will be releasing boxy tanks, compression shorts, scrunch capri pants and gym bags! So visit and visit often!

I personally, am very picky about quality so nothing is allowed to be sold without having me test it! Yes I am a fanatic but hey we won't and DON'T sell junk! So you can rest assured that every purchase is quality controlled and packaged with love.
